On 24 February 2023 Flying Scotsman celebrates its 100th birthday. Known and loved across the world, in 1934 Flying Scotsman was the first locomotive to officially achieve a speed of 100mph. Anthony Coulls takes us on a detailed tour of the legendary vehicle in steam at King’s Cross station in London at the launch of its centenary celebrations.
