The Roots | English Subtitles

The Roots - a short film by young director Ilona Kocharyan. The film was a participant of the New York International Short Film festival (USA), Second Asia International Youth Short-Film Exhibition (China),The Golden Apricot 2015 (Armenia), KIN filmfetival (Armenia) and different festival in Ukraine and Russia. Also, “The Roots“ was accepted for the “Short Film Corner“ of the 69th Cannes Film Festival. After a long-term truce, during 5 years of grey days and nights of the lonely grandfather Aram, each next morning resembled the previous. But one winter morning has changed the old man’s life - the younger son has arrived with a family from Ukraine
