Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday that Western countries were ignoring human rights violations in Gaza because “the blood being spilled is Muslim blood.“ In a speech at his presidential palace, Erdogan said Israel’s attacks on Gaza were no longer self-defence and ’barbarism’, criticizing Western countries for providing unconditional support for Israeli attacks instead of calling for restraint.
