In 2015 composer Mátyás Wettl (HU, 1987) was nominated for the Gaudeamus Award (Gaudeamus Muziekweek). That year he wrote ‘Nocturne voor Slagwerk Den Haag’, a music piece in which 4 percussionists play 16 light switches / lamps.
Percussion ensemble Slagwerk Den Haag (SDH):
’Percussion The Hague’, the Netherlands, features the ‘classic’ percussion repertoire and is also at the forefront of new developments in the sound/percussion/music theatre field. SDH is fascinated by everything concerned with sound, pulse and materials that produce sound.
