The Falcon 9 rocket with the Crew Dragon capsule that will carry the Inspiration4 crew will soon roll to launch complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. The mission will see four private citizens orbit Earth for three days aboard the chartered SpaceX capsule. Liftoff is currently scheduled for no earlier than Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021. On Sunday the crew will board the capsule for a dress rehearsal of launch day and on Monday the Falcon 9’s first stage engines will briefly ignite for a pre-launch test fire.
