Newark New Jersey - Downtown Drive Through (Is Brick City Back?)

Today we are visiting Newark, New Jersey... arguably one of the most notorious cities in America. Since 1967 Newark has been a poster child for white flight, blight, failed schools, abysmal public housing projects and whatever other ills that inner city living has to offer in abundance. However like most cities across the United States and particularly in the northeast, gentrification efforts have began. So unlike most “hood vloggers“ we will take some time first and show you the heart of the city, it’s commercial and cultural hub to see if there is some noteworthy change and if there are any stark differences between this area and other parts of the city.
