Are Old BMX Tricks Harder Than New Tricks?

We went to the skatepark so Matty could learn a new trick that he has never been able to accomplish before, The barspin to nosepick on a quarter pipe! After trying it A LOT of times he did conquer the challenge! After that I challenged him to learn an old trick that I saw the BMX legends Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist do in the @Props BMX year end 98’ video and he had a hard time pulling it off which proves that old tricks in BMX are harder than new ones!
