Unused / unissued material - location and dates unclear or unknown. VS of a demonstration on fighting a grassland or cornfield fire. People examine various types of fire beaters. The story shows an incendiary bomb being dropped by an ’enemy’ plane near a harvesting site. A Land girl on fire watch duty gives the signal and the harvesters go into action with beaters and water chains. The local AFS (Auxiliary Fire Service) engine is quickly on the scene and by using water from an overgrown ditch quickly have the fire under control.
