Aeolian Island (1961)

Aeolians, Sicily, Italy. The film starts with the arrival at the Aeolian Islands. Several panoramic shots of the sea, islands and the town are followed by the point of view shot of a road along the coast. Cut to the several shots of the tropical (or rather Mediterranean) plants and flowers. Tourists are seen browsing around, sight seeing. A couple, Mr and Mrs Vincent Price, walk along ruins (not specified what they are). The beach. Scenes of fishermen at work. M/S of a fisherman making a lobster pot. C/U shot of the lobster pot in making. Three men are seen repairing fishing net. They look strange with large needles in their hands, sewing. Lovely little boats in water are seen behind them. Succession of shots shows traditional, but still preserved way of rope making. A man and a boy are seen dispersing the fibre (later used for rope making) on the sun to dry.
