I will guide you thru my 3d modeling workflow for my 3D Printed Shoulder Cosplay Armor inspired by Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion. I got used Z-brush to sculpt the final model, add surface detail and boolean the keys for the print. Autodesk Maya was used to retopologize the base mesh, 3d model some of the shapes as well as to clean up the base mesh and export for print. The piece was printed on Raise 3d N2 .
