The Range Rover Evoque Convertible might not be the first roofless 4x4 - the original Land Rover and various American Jeeps lay claim to that. But it is the first modern take on the formula, and the first that is properly upmarket. It’s not cheap, but there’s space for four and a pair of reasonably efficient engines.
