Full title reads: “Speed Boat Season Opens - on the ’waves’ of the Welsh Harp at Hendon - ’on Sea’.“ Welsh Harp, Hendon, Greater London. People (mainly women) walk across wooden path over water. They gather at the edge of the water (a lake / aquadrome?). Three speedboats each with several passengers are just moving away from the quay. The boats turn and speed away, the passengers are waving to those on shore. The three boats speed towards the camera. They all turn just before the camera to create a wake.
