Ukraine continues its offensive against Russian infrastructure, with the latest strike reportedly hitting a major ammunition depot in Russia’s Bryansk region. The depot, believed to house North Korean weapons, glide bombs, and artillery shells, was targeted by a Ukrainian drone strike early on Wednesday, October 9. The 67th GRAU arsenal, located near Karachev, about 114 kilometers from Ukraine’s border, was the site of fires and explosions captured on video and shared widely online.
According to Andrii Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, the attack is part of Kyiv’s continued effort to disrupt Russian logistics as the war drags on past two and a half years. Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed that 47 Ukrainian drones were intercepted during the night, 24 of them in the Bryansk region. Despite the strike, no casualties or significant damage have been reported, according to local officials.
