I’m constantly surprised by how many great 20th century illustrators Ive managed to be completely ignorant of before I started making these videos. And many of these discoveries have yielded some breathtaking examples of illustrated work, published in any number of formats and areas of expression. Niklaus Stoecklin is yet another who more than proves this point as far as I’m concerned, and should be considerably better known and admired than he currently is. Maybe this video will help.
