Mad Rat Dead Robot AU

Some snippets from a hypothetical alternate take on Mad Rat Dead. Apologies in advanced; this is entirely a mock-up. Rundown: Instead of a transplant, Mad Rat gets an artificial heart (Arty). Mad Rat breaks out of the lab while testing his new strength. He gets caught by an eagle which takes him to its nest to feed its chicks, but the chicks let him go. Mad Rat is going to leave the city when Arty stops him by force. Arty is loyal to the doctor for creating him. Mad Rat convinces him to choose his own path. using the chicks as a parallel. There isn’t Heart or Rat God, so Arty kinda took both their roles. Arty was playing a high pitched sound to attract the eagle, to scare Mad Rat back to the lab. The robo-Mob Rats are from the official MRD concept art. Arty’s ’scouter’ is based on an actual artificial heart, and when he punches his screen out it’s supposed to be a circuit board to look like an eye.
