Blobfish live at depths between 609-1219 meters beneath the surface, which explains why they rapidly depressurize and deform when taken out of the water.
The Goblin Shark can be found as deep down as 1300 m below sea level, but they can swim up to shallower depths, and known to swim within 27 m of the surface (you can see one while diving!)
The goblin shark can grow up to 3.6 m long, weighing
