Full title reads: “As in the Olden Days. Attended by javelin men and trumpeters, Judge Fraser attends service before opening the Assizes“. Chester, Cheshire. Various shots of a procession of men coming out of a church / cathedral. Some of the men carry poles or maces. Some wear ceremonial robes and britches. C/U of two buglers playing a fanfare. More shots of men coming out of church / cathedral, including man in ermine robes - Judge Fraser. M/S procession of men in tricorne hats and carrying javelins. A horse drawn carriages follows them. Cuts / out takes start at 01:15:35. Some shots men going into church / cathedral. M/S of several men in ermine robes being helped out of car - Judge Fraser and entourage. More smartly dressed men wait on the pavement to greet them. Panning shot follows Judge Fraser as he enters the church / cathedral.
