Travis Orbin - Cold For June Session - “Repeat (feat. Kyle Pavone)“

@coldforjune Cold For June is a post-hardcore band from Detroit, MI. I was approached back in October of 2019 to track this tune. I’ve since done one other for them, which was recorded at MixWave with Taylor Larson in August of 2021. It’s great to finally hear this one realized full-on, with vocals by Kyle Pavone (.) of We Came As Romans. The demo featured some great programmed drums, and I add my usual flair and idiosyncrasies, including the brief 3-16 metric modulation at 2:44 and the 8th-note quintuplet (with which they kept and locked in guitars - how cool!) at 3:32.
