Leaf spider discovered in China

An undescribed orb web spider species resembling leaves was discovered in the tropical rain forests of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, southwest China. The female abdomen color is both green and brown, thus resembling both live and dry leaves. Leaf masquerade, an animal resembling leaves, is well known in insects but less so in arachnids.
