Delegates in London for the Locarno Pact. British troops leave the Rhineland. Hindenburg elected Chancellor. 1926 Nazi supporters in Berlin Streets. Coal strike, pit head meeting and idle pit. Deserted factories, railways, and shipyards. General Strike 1926. Traffic congestion in London, people walking to work. Police protect Volunteer bus drivers. Volunteers loading trains, digging coal, unloading ships. Troops drive food supplies to distribution centre’s in Hyde Park. Downing Street, reporters run to announce the end of the strike. Factory activities, miners still on strike. Test match and cricketers run from rain, after 15 years Hobbs and Sutcliffe win the Ashes, celebrations on pitch. Suzanne Lenglen plays at Wimbledon, posh afternoon tea party in Richmond, and afterwards fun and rowing boats on the Thames. Troop
