Queen of the Night

Gena Gilligan from Victor, Mont. was kind enough to let the Montana Kaimin video staff into her home to document the rarely-seen blossoming of an Epiphyllum Oxypetalum, or ’Queen of the Night.’ While the video is only two minutes long, it is representative of an almost 11-hour bloom that began after 7 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2013, and ended around 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
