Restoration Antique Caucasian Shashka Sword

Hello folks! Don’t miss this restoration! The longest, most complex and interesting. Today I want to show you a new restoration project, that I have been doing for a long time. This is a Caucasian type Shashka sword blade. According to my friend, it is difficult to determine her age from 120-200. He found it somewhere in the attic in the village. I will not describe all the processes in detail — there were many of them. Pour yourself some tea and let’s start the restoration! Process of restoration was very hard and huge. While I started work, it took more than one day to remove the handle, because the thing is old, everything had to be done carefully. There was metalworking, woodworking, leather working, a little work with silver, soldering of brass, working with non-ferrous metal.
