In this tutorial we will look at how to paint Glow Effects aka Object Source Lighting. OSL might seem quite overwhelming at first, but this guide should make painting any glow effects easier! Non Metallic Metal and Object Source Lighting are considered 2 of the more difficult miniature painting techniques out there. I have picked Squig Hopper miniature from Warhammer age of simgar Gloomspite Gitz to show exactly how it’s done. Even though I am painting OSL on the mushroom, you can absolutely replicate this effect on anything that is supposed to glow.
