Tri Tankista - Song of the Soviet Tankmen (Три танкиста)

Another song from the Soviet movie Tractorists (1939), the name translates to Three tankmen. This one is about the Soviet-Japanese border conflict, Battle of Khalkhin Gol. It sings about the crew of a BT-7 succesfully defending their Soviet motherland and her Mongolian ally from the Japanese invaders. Ironically, I was only able to find some anime version of this song with English lyrics on Youtube, so I decided to upload the original one. Many versionsof the song, excluding this one, replace “samurai“ with “group of enemies“ (“вражья стая“) Lyrics: На границе тучи ходят хмуро, Край суровый тишиной объят.
