I hope you’re all fine I’m profoundly grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth to share with you the story of the music called « Send Me ». It has multiple layers of contemplation. The first one is the chapter 6 of the book Isaiah. Isaiah is one of the biggest and most important prophet of all the Bible. He lived around 600 years before Jesus. His book has 66 chapters. Many of his prophecies talk about the person of Christ. Isaiah was born in Israel within a divided kingdom. At first, Israel was 12 unified tribes. They were all following the Law of Moses. They had mighty kings like David and Solomon. However, just after Solomon’s death, the country started to split. 10 tribes on the one hand and 2 tribes on the other. The ten tribes slowly fell into paganism. One might think of paganism as something innocent, like dancing naked around trees and kissing them. It wasn’t at all. They were actually sacrificing their own children — Playing music loud so that they did not hear the suffering of their kids while they were burning. It was the kind of paganism the 10 tribes fell into. So God started to warn them, by sending prophets. Unfortunately, they did not pay attention, and the 10 tribes were deported to the ancient kingdom of Assyria. Isaiah was living in that political context. He would have never believed he life would radically change. One day, In his youth, while going to Solomon’s Temple, he received a vision. He saw God. He was so terrified by God’s Holiness that he said those words : “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.” Holiness was so strong that the young Isaiah thought he was going to die. However, God forgave him instantly and started to speak : « Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”. Isaiah wanted and accepted to be God’s messenger; even if it would lead him against the flow. « SEND ME !!!» he said, no hesitation. Did he know his writings would change the face of the whole earth? Certainly not. By following God’s Heart, he changed many people lives. And guess what, so do you! That’s the second level of contemplation. Do you feel that God is calling you in your heart? In your being? Do you feel like seeing so many signs going to that direction? Don’t wait my friend! Go and start your relationship with God today and stick hard with Him! Life is so much more that the one we live without Him. Persevere in your research for God, grab a Bible and study it, it will chock you, upset you, amaze you, make you fell all kind of emotions, it’s normal. It’s not about going to a church, nor about the location, it’s your heart and God’s!! God loves you bro or sis! He does!!
