Michael Sailor presents his talk about the prevalence of nanotechnology in our modern world today in various things such as cancer. Michael J. Sailor is Professor and Leslie Orgel Scholar in Inorganic Chemistry in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and at the University of California, San Diego. He is also an Affiliate Professor in the Departments of Bioengineering, Nanoengineering, and in the Materials Science and Engineering Program at UCSD. He is an expert in nanophase materials, with emphasis on porous silicon. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
