Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement - Big Band Jazz Version (The 8-Bit Big Band)

In between recording video game tunes the gang and I decided to have some fun and record an up-tempo swing arrangement of Beethoven’s classic 3rd movement from the seminal “Moonlight Sonata“! Most people are familiar with the 1st movement of this great piece, which is beautiful and haunting, but the 3rd movement has always stuck with me as an incredibly powerful and dramatic piece of music. I wanted to pay tribute to this great composer 8BBB style while showcasing the INCREDIBLE musicianship in this band! For those who don’t know, we do not rehearse music before we record it.
