“The March of Artillerists“ - Oktet of the Alexandrov Red Army Choir (1970)

“The March of Artillerists“ is a patriotic song about the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The march is performed by the octet of the Red Banner Alexandrov Ensemble of the Soviet Army. In 1943, the composer Tikhon Khrennikov and the poet Vladimir Gusev wrote this song for the film entitled “At 6 p.m. after the war.“ At the beginning of the clip you can see the composer himself making the introduction to the song. It was also nice to see young Victor Kadinov and Vasily Shtefutsa in the video...
