V-Tail Template: The basic math for calculating the measurement for your 90 degree corner-cut: sin(45) * fuselage width in inches
Or you could calculate: * fuselage width in inches
For a 3’’ fuselage width, your measurement will be: sin(45) * 3 = ’’
For a 2.5’’ fuselage width, your measurement will be: (sin45) * 2.5 = ’’
For a 2’’ fuselage width, your measurement will be: sin(45) * 2 = ’’
You want to have your answer (in inches) measured by a mark on each side (from the 90 degree corner) on your foam template and cut the foam away (that connects to both marks)
Check if your template will give your V-tail a total angle of 90 degrees.
