It’s happening on all sides. For Putin and much of the world, it’s the West’s war against Russia. Supplying [Ukraine] with long-range weapons to use on Russia is seen as a major escalation by Russia itself and its allies. I think that’s why the American president is hesitant to give them both that authorisation. That’s why our Federal Chancellor is also hesitant to grant a licence to supply Taurus missiles’.
