Quarry and goat. Somewhere in the North Country. L/S of a limestone quarry. A man drills a hole in the side and puts a charge of dynamite into it. A man blows a horn and all the workers, including their goat mascot, run for cover. The fuse is lit by Joe Binks (?) who runs away afterwards. L/S of explosion. C/U of the goat. M/S of the rock blown from the side. M/S of the other mascot, a pig. The rocks are broken up and put in carts where they run on rails down to the crushing machine.
