Young Strephon, half-human, half-fairy, plans to wed the beautiful Phyllis, ward of the detestable (but hilarious) Lord Chancellor. But through a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, she forsakes their engagement in favour of just about anyone else! Meanwhile, Strephon’s fairy mother, the formerly banished Iolanthe, returns to her life in the fairy world. But is there space left in her life for love? Will Phyllis find forgiveness in her heart for Strephon? And is love in store for anyone else?
