The first and still only John Lewis Christmas ad to be directed by a woman and parodied by Lidl, using Aurora to sweeten up Oasis’ ’Half the World Away’, the only person in the world to notice that there’s a lonely old man on the moon decides to do something about it. Directed by Kim Gehrig and shot by André Chemetoff at Somesuch.
