After firing seven fast punches in seven seconds on her opponent, 28-year-old Seniesa Estrada defeated 42-year-old Miranda Adkins with the fastest KO ever in women’s boxing history, in a match that took place at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California on Friday night.
Estrada, the interim WBA flyweight champion and WBC silver junior flyweight champion, who entered the contest with an 18-0 undefeated record, dominated Adkins, who had taken part in only five professional matches before, after starting boxing at the age of 40. Adkins became a last-minute replacement for Jacky Calvo who couldn’t take part in a fight due to an injury.
When the fight started, Estrada moved quickly across the ring, cornered Adkins and after just seven seconds the fight was over with a knockout.
