Israel carries out strikes in Gaza and on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after Hamas terror

Israel on Friday (October 20) released footage of missile strikes on targets said to be in Gaza, as well as infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon being destroyed. The Israeli army said Mabduh Shaalabi, a Hamas special naval forces operative involved in attacks against Israel, was among those killed in the strikes in Gaza. Israel has pounded Gaza with air strikes and put the enclave’s 2.3 million people under siege after Hamas terrorist gunmen rampaged through Israeli towns and kibbutzes on October 7, killing 1,400 Israelis and taking scores of hostages. On a separate front, the Israeli army said attacks on Hezbollah infrastructure, including observation posts, had been carried out in response to the group’s firing of missiles across the Israel-Lebanon border.
