Santa Claus spotted diving at Florida Keys Aquarium

Santa took to the water Thursday (December 21), spreading Christmas cheer at the Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters. According to the Florida Keys News Bureau, Captain Spencer Slate of Slate’s Scuba Adventures donned Kris Kringle garb and doled out yummy treats to the aquarium’s residents. Recipients of Scuba Santa’s holiday generosity included curious cow nose rays, a variety of reef fish, and a Florida lobster, the Florida Keys News Bureau said. While the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary’s open waters are a no-feed zone for fish, guests at Aquarium Encounters can follow Santa’s example and feed the fish there.
