With the same caveat as always… here is more video of old man me playing “old man drums”… This time, it’s 24K Magic by Bruno Mars, as performed on our show by Chris Blue. As time goes one, I continue to grow more and more fond of Bruno Mars and his catalog. I have also become more and more a fan of his drummer and my friend Eric “E-Panda” Hernandez. Eric always lays down a KILLER pocket and any fills or licks he plays are always clean, always nailed, and NEVER attempted at the expense of the slammin’ groove. Not only is Eric an outstanding drummer but he’s also one of the nicest cats you’ll ever meet. Stoked for him and all of his success… Here’s me doing my best to hold it down with Chris Blue on the show, The Voice. Eric, I hope I’ve done the song justice.
