Moody Autumn Days | Halloween Pumpkin Cookies | Castle Combe | Slow Living Silent Vlog

Hi friends, this is a silent vlog again - so enjoy a relaxing and calm, but ever so slightly spooky video, Halloween edition. I woke up one morning only to find the village covered in thickest fog. I thought this was very appropriate for the end of the season! I also visited Castle Combe, a beautiful village in English countryside, carved a pumpkin and baked some cute Halloween cookies! PUMPKIN COOKIES: - 100g salted butter (or unsalted butter pinch of salt) - 65g powdered sugar - 20g milk or cream - 2 tbsp or 115g of cooked pumpkin - 1 egg yolk - 110g flour - 50g almond flour - 1 tsp of cinnamon - 1 tsp of pumpkin spice (mix of nutmeg, ginger, cloves and allspice) - white or blonde chocolate for decoration Slice the pumpkin and roast at 180C/ 355F in the oven for about 20 mins or until it turns soft. You can peel off the skin before roasting, but I find it easier to peel after it’s been cooked. You will need about 3-4 pumpkin wedges for this
