1920s Footage of All-Black Town of Boley, Oklahoma Restored

Restored footage from the 1920s of the residents of Boley, Oklahoma leaving the First National Bank of Boley. Boley was incorporated in 1905 as an all-black town and at the start of the 20th century was one of the wealthiest towns of its kind. Footage originally from: Smithsonian Institution Footage frame rate increased, upscaled, and “colorized” using AI technology.
