Venson started out with the piano, studying at Berklee College of Music, but her longing for energetic live performances made her change to the guitar, and she became an independent blues musician who gets her musical inspiration from such artists as Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Alicia Keys and probably her musician dad Andrew Venson too.
