Les Machines is an amazing steampunk theme park in Nantes France. Just 2 hours from Paris this lesser-known attraction is well worth a visit. It was started by mechanical theatre set designers - Francois Delaroziere and Pierre Orefice - for ever larger street theatre projects featuring giant mechanised puppets. Les Machines has since morphed into a Jules Verne inspired mechanical universe.
