Editing the traditional art for 5 hours straight

Depending on the task I may use different techniques. When it comes to detailed illustration with multiple characters in action and the detailed backgrounds I prefer drawing everything digitally: lineart flat coloring and the cell shading. When the realistic portrait of a character is required I tend to render the hell out of it, almost if I was imitating oil what you can see in this video is a very special technique for me. This is the style and the techique I’ve been working in for years, since I was an aspiring kid who participated in every single art challenge I could find on the Internet. Most of my commissioners want me to draw their character’s this way: floating in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fog and shadows, where the only source of light is the dark moon, and their silhouttes are clearly outlined on the deep red, dark gold or silver foil of the background.I don’t even know if I could call it a TRADITIONAL art, because now I am editing it to the point where I add a background
