Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, Killua, and Hisoka are all the original voice actors for the 1999 series. Illumi and Kalluto were originally played by girls, so it would make sense that the stage characters would also be played by women for their vocal quality and to be more accurate to the anime. WHERE IS ALLUKA? This musical was performed from 2000 to 2001 and Alluka was first shown in chapter 229 which was released in 2005. Alluka probably hadn’t even been thought of yet.
