D Train ~ You’re The One For Me 1981 Disco Purrfection Version

This slammin’ tune came courtesy of James ’D Train’ Williams and Hubert Eaves III, who met in high school. Signed to Prelude Records, they released the house party classic “You’re The One For Me“, which shot to #1 on the disco/dance chart and stayed there for three weeks. They had a run of dance hits which ended in 1986 with James solo hit “Misunderstanding“ which peaked at #5. I was able to land my hands on the really really hard to find vocal intro and added it to this very special old school remix.
