China’s Xi Welcomes Democratic Republic of Congo Counterpart | VOA News

Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Felix Tshisekedi for talks in Beijing. Tshisekedi was greeted by Xi at a welcome ceremony outside The Great Hall of the People. Tshisekedi then met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang for talks. He was expected to renegotiate a mineral infrastructure contract that had been signed in 2008 with China.
