Throwback Zack is a legend and a veteran in the San Diego funk scene, first introduced to myself when he helped produce, and feature on GD Funkster and Vade One’s project “Naybahood“ back in 2019. Since that time, I have been admiring Zack’s production, creativity and talent. I knew I wanted to collaborate with him, and we began working on Pool around a year ago, in the Summer of 2022.
