Spiritual Awakening: What Is the Point in the Heart?

People who are interested in the wisdom of Kabbalah or who have a unique desire for what we call in Kabbalah the “point in the heart.“ Even though this desire is so tiny, it exists in every person. However, in most people, it is dormant. Most people are physically alive but spiritually asleep. When this point in the heart—this tiny point of desire that seeks the upper world—awakens in a person, they are ready for a new kind of adventure in life: the spiritual adventure of spiritual development. It always warms my heart to think about how these awakened seeker points, these awakened points in the hearts all around the world, are coming to the wisdom of Kabbalah in the same way that I came to the wisdom of Kabbalah. Anyone who really has an awakened point in the heart is part of a kind of network that connects us. Even though we don’t necessarily know each other physically and might come from many different backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures, this point is universal. This point is spiritual.
