Spirit of the West: Sierra

After 4 months on a weekly basis, i have finally completed a half minute of fan animation, “Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron“ style. ;v; This scene was inspired from the Dreamworks book, “Spirit of the West: Sierra“ By Kathleen Duey. Chapter 1. ^^; Plan to make animatics here from the books before attempting more fan animations overall. Hope you look forward on what’s to come on this channel. ^v^ Edit: Did the math. This clip was over 200 frames total! :O (219 to be exact) ^^; That’s 200 of sketches, inks, color, and shading. (not counting bg work...) ^^; Over 800 drawings, not including the trial and error attempts learning how to pull off a full animation for the first time. ^^; Just wanted to share what it took to pull this off am genuinely surprised by the results on what it takes to make this, now that i did the math.
