Oops, China made the first 5G RF US Sanctions

Recently, China Mobile officially announced the successful development of “Breaking Wind 8676,“ a reconfigurable 5G RF transceiver chip. This chip is the first of its kind in China, designed with a reconfigurable architecture, and will be applied to the ongoing construction of the 5G network. It can be used in 5G cloud base stations, small base stations, and home base stations, significantly enhancing the autonomy and controllability of 5G network core devices. Previously, the 5G RF chip market was monopolized by the United States and Japan, who held approximately 95% of the market share for key components like filters. With their monopoly power, the United States halted the supply of 5G RF chips to Huawei, causing Huawei’s smartphones, even those equipped with the Kirin 9000 chip integrated with 5G baseband, to be unable to support 5G technology. This has provided a strong impetus to the Chinese chip industry, and since then, it has been committed to breaking the gap in 5G RF chips. “China Focus“ is a YouTube channel created to provide current events and pop culture headlines from you can get to know a more real China through my video. | #ChineseNews #chips #ChinaFocus Thanks for your watching and subscribing.
