It’s easily the best Soulslike that isn’t directly by FromSoftware so far, and has unique systems to make it excel. The weapon crafting system was brilliant, allowing for a wide range of builds and weapon combos. I found it very impressive, especially from a game design standpoint that two completely different playstyles can approach these bosses with no damage, which is mainly what I wanted to test and showcase in my playthrough here. Whether you go aggressively parry focused, or pace out dodging, both approaches can achieve the same results of success. It wouldn’t say it was completely perfect either, as there’s a couple of things that I think could change (namely getting stuck on enemy hitboxes, and attacks being very un-intuitive to read). On top of that, you could argue that the parry window should be a little more generous too. But outside of that, it was much better than expected. Difficulty-wise, at least from a no damage perspective, this is probably harder than most of the FromSoftware games. This is due to the nature of attacks being quite difficult to read, so the only approach you can have is to learn them and their timings. I also avoided using any consumables, and stayed away from aggressively brute-forcing down (most) bosses, so the extra time and focus on dodging everything, made it that little bit harder. Both of which, especially the former, can trivialise certain bosses. From a viewer standpoint, I think the parry focused kills are more of a spectacle, and showcase the combat systems quite well. But as I’ve mentioned along the way and through my playtime, my main goal was to show that different playstyles can work, and a more traditional dodging approach can fare just as well. In terms of the hardest bosses: Laxasia was easily the hardest to no damage of them all. The phase 2 is an absolute chaotic nightmare. Fallen Archbishop took a while too, mainly because it was still early in the game and I was getting used to the combat systems. Both Black Rabbit Brotherhoods fights were painful to no damage, especially the second time, and without consumables to cheese the smaller bosses. Lastly, there’s also a lot of misinformation about how to obtain all 3 of the endings (mostly around the “Free From The Puppet String“ ending, but hopefully I can clear this up). I explain how to get all 3 endings in the one playthrough here: Lies of P Playlist (All Bosses No Damage & Guides): PC build: Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL, Corsair AX1600i, MSI PG Z790 Carbon Wifi, i9-13900k, Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420, MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X 24G, 64GB Trident Z5 DDR5-6400 CL32, 5x Arctic P14 PWM, 2x Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD 2TB, 8TB Samsung 870 QVO SSD, Gigabyte M28U ================================================== SUBSCRIBE HERE: BECOME A CHANNEL MEMBER HERE: Thank you so much for your support!
